Alumni Services

Alumni excellence card

University graduates can receive it for a sum in Egyptian pounds and expires every two years. Payment is made in cash or at one of the university’s banks. Do not bring a photo with you, as we will take a photo of you and issue a graduate ID immediately.

Graduates will enjoy some benefits such as:

Using the university library using free stadiums
Get a discount on university training courses
Participating in events organized by the university, including attending conferences, meetings, seminars, exhibitions, workshops, and meetings.
A range of discounts and concessions are being contracted

Note the Card activation is currently on hold. It will be announced to all alumni once it is finalize

Email Service

In cooperation with the Education Technology Department,The free Microsoft Office 365 will be launched to all alumni as a new service.

It has many features such as:

Download the latest office 365 versions that include Word, Excel , Powerpoint, Outlook and OneNote.
1 TB of OneDrive Storage.
Install Office on up to 5 PCS or Macs and on other mobile devices, including Android, iPad and windows tablets

Dr. Rania Alwani

She obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Misr University for Science and Technology in 2004, and a Master of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Ain Shams University in 2014. She also had a Sports Management Diploma from the International Centre for Sports Studies, Switzerland in September 2009, and a Healthcare and Hospital Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo in 2015

Ahmed Hatem

An Egyptian actor who studied media in the faculty of mass communication – Misr university for science and technology. Nehal Nabil

Graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Misr University of Science and Technology, Department of Radio and Television, in 2007. She made her artistic debut between 2003 and 2004. She took part in the “Art Studio” program and won the Silver Medal.
Nahal’s fame increased after Syed Hijab gave the composer Yasir Abdurrahman to sing(كان ياما كان) of Sarah Series, in 2005.

Kerolos Mousa

Agaypi was an undergraduate student at the College of Biotechnology at the Misr University for Science and Technology in Egypt.

He was offered to join a group of researchers at The Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences as they made a significant breakthrough in the field of nano optics and metasurfaces. In 2017, the Michelle Sous Foundation supported him in his quest to raise funds to cover his living expenses for a year in Massachusetts, Boston, in 2018 as he worked on a project for a method to overcome the limitations of the conventional spectrometer. Now he is a Ph.D. student in the applied physics department at Harvard University.

An alumnus of College of Biotechnology,2009 Yasser Morsy is a bioinformatics scientist in the gastroenterology and hepatology department at the university hospital Zurich university(USZ). Yasser is the main bioinformatician in the department responsible for omics data analysis, including genomic variants, RNA sequencing, metagenomics, and metabolomics. Before joining the USZ, he was a lab manager in the National Biolab company with the responsibility to establish the molecular biology laboratory for services and kits production. Yasser also has experience in teaching several courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different universities, including Misr University for Science and Technology and Ain Shams universities. An alumnus of College of Biotechnology,2009 Amin Abdellatif is a professional with almost 10 years of experience and a proven successful track record in Sales, Project management, and technical support. The key to this is a thorough understanding of the customer’s need and how this need can be fulfilled. In 2009 he got his BSc in Biotechnology from the faculty of biotechnology, Misr University of Science and Technology. Followed by a master’s degree in Science from United Arab Emirates University.

Marwa Amer was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1988. She received a BSc degree in Biotechnology from the Misr University for Science and Technology, Egypt, in 2009. She got her MSc degree in genetics from the Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2013.
