World Oral Health Day

The College of Dentistry at Misr University for Science and Technology organized a celebration in honor of World Oral Health Day under the theme “Happy Mouth, Happy Mind” on Monday, February 25, 2025.

The event began with a welcoming address by Prof. Dr. Hala El-Menoufy, Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, who greeted the attendees and emphasized the importance of celebrating oral health due to its direct and indirect impacts on overall physical health, particularly mental well-being.

Following this, Dr. Nahawand Thabet, the representative of the World Dental Federation in Egypt (FDI), delivered a speech highlighting the significance of World Oral Health Day and the rationale behind the chosen theme. He also commended the role of the College of Dentistry at Misr University for Science and Technology in community service and its active participation in all dental-related initiatives.

The day continued with several Informative lectures presented by members of the teaching and support staff on how to maintain optimal oral and dental health. In addition, several dental companies participated in the celebration, distributing free samples of oral and dental care products to the attendees.
